Another very entertaining interview. Love the fact that no matter if your guests are on super expensive bikes or the lower end of the market they all have an interesting story to tell. Thank you for sharing 🙏🏿
i rmb meeting john for the first time met him in cck cyclist also then i rmb my friend say that he super strong one then he ride very scary and i was like damn i rmb my first question i ask him was bro you gonna chiong or attack ah then he look at me and shake his head like no ah no ah chill chill it was one of the friday chill rides so honestly one of the best dudes i ever met he even came to my house to help me replace a brake cable even though i tell him its ok i mean he really is an awesome, chill, and fun dude to hang around with legit awesome
Ya, but when you rim brake mafias see newer rim brakes getting launched, you don’t buy them. Thus, companies stopped offering them and then you all start whining on the internet 🤪
Where can I find the link for the 290mm handlebar? Also, I noticed that you used LTWOO shifters with a 105 rear derailleur, but the bike in the video has 105 shifters. Is there any specific reason for the change? How did the LTWOO shifters perform before switching to the 105 shifters?
It's the BALUGOE handlebar in AliExpress. The option says 30cm but in actuality it's 29cm :) The LTWOO rim brake shifters broke after 1 month of use. The mechanism unfortunately isn't as robust as their disc brake offering. It's like a toy which uses a cheap coiled spring mechanism instead of a solid gear system seen in their disc brake shifters :)
Bro.. rule 1 about replacing tires... never swap the front to the back. Change both at the same time. Reason because the wear line is different between the front at back and may cause you to loose grip when cornering.. remember that you steer your front wheel more than your bike where it runs straight most of the time... 😉
@OompaLoompaCycling bro... not at hairpin.. even just turning at a junction on wet roads will have you go under... seen this a couple of times in my life with my friends...
World Tour & Conti Pros ride at speeds that are beyond comprehension sometimes. TV and cameras make it all look very calm and manageable. And it's fair for pros to have disc brakes since they NEED that stopping power. Meanwhile, I'm nowhere a WT pro nor Conti pro. The extra faff and potential problems when it comes to the calipers & rotors, I don't see it worth my trouble. And us, at amateur or club level, we don't go that fast!
Simple answer…..They are paid pro cyclists to cycling anything given by their sponsors…they have to use it,it’s like no choice….pogacar is so strong even if he uses & rides the most slowest team bike in world tour team and using a 105 groupset with a rim brakes,he will still be in front..that’s how really strong he is and the reality of cheap bikes components vs high ends…just a different of a vey small amount of %,not much…it’s like a car without an engine, engine makes the car moves and how strong is the engine makes the car move faster or no..bikes wont go fast by itself, the cyclist is the engine…so if you want to go fast & strong in cycling & dont have much money, you don’t need to buy expensive bikes or upgrade an expensive bikes components to go fast….just upgrade yourself by doing right and proper cycling training & take the right nutrition for long rides

@@chroniclesofalazyriderbyde9504 ok bro thanks for the tip and sharing with us... ride safe! :) HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU
@OompaLoompaCycling you too bro! Happy New Year!!!
What is the BB standard for this bike? Hopefully it is not BB86.
It’s bb86 🤣
@@OompaLoompaCyclingBB86 here, there, left right centre. Not a problem for 25 mm spindles and smaller, but a bad pairing for 30 mm and DUB spindles.
handlebar link please my friend

Very distracting. Why does he keep shaking his body?
Nervous to be speaking to a masked man
You’ll only know when you see OLC in-person 👺
Yet you hanker for the expensive stuff.
interesting observation! appreciate if you can explain more :) scrutinize me if you will, this will make a nice discussion
